What is your photography style?
My priority is capturing the moments between you and your loved ones. I won’t ask you to tilt your head awkwardly, arch your back and suck in your gut all while making sure your dress lays perfectly flat. That sounds so uncomfortable! Instead I like to make the environment easygoing, so we can just have fun together and see your real personalities shine! I give direction and guidance the whole time to encourage your real selves to come out. So, don’t worry if you don’t know what to do! I’ll be there to coach you through it.
On a wedding day, I have a photo-journalistic style. I like to be a fly on the wall and just capture the day as it happens. During your ceremony, I use my super stealth to capture the important shots while keeping a low profile. There are also times when I leap into action: Any family and group photos + bride and groom portraits of course!
When you see your final wedding gallery my goal is for you to re-live the emotions and electricity of the day. I want you to feel the energy in the room, to remember the butterflies and prayers as you got ready, and the cozy feeling of “home” when you’re wrapped up in your partner’s arms. I also love capturing the details of the location, the landscape, the weather. Everything about the day. I love showing you the parts of the day that maybe you weren’t able to see at the time. Maybe it’s your grandparents holding hands during the ceremony, or your mom wiping away a tear, I’m there to be your extra set of eyes so you can keep looking at each other.
I unashamedly LOVE those artsy +filmy moments. I love being creative and experimenting in photography. Maybe it’s a blurry black and white shot, or a dragged shutter, or a giant sun flare. Whatever it may be, I love creating something unique for my clients. To me, photography isn’t just clicking a shutter, it’s the way I express myself. It’s my way of capturing your life, as art.
What is your turnaround time?
For weddings, you will receive your full gallery within 4-8 weeks of the date. But I’m usually too excited to wait that long so I’ll usually send you some previews within the first week!
For sessions, turnaround time is between 3-4 weeks.
I’m ready to book my wedding, what happens next?
I require a signed contract and non-refundable retainer payment to reserve a wedding date. Fill out my contact form so we can get started!
After everything is signed and paid, we can start planning!
We’ll want to decide when/ where to do your engagement session. I’ll send you my “What to Wear” guide!

Will you help us find photo locations?
You bet! You can assume that I am all over that if you haven’t given me your top spots already. Often before a wedding day I’ll try to scout the perfect location or will send you different suggestions. Or I’ll research undercover options if it’s a torrential downpour. I always consider background (does it look good?) but also lighting which is arguably even more important! So don’t stress about locations - I got you.
What is your editing style?
Natural, warm, filmy & I LOVE strong colours.
I also enjoy dramatic black and white images.
How long have you been shooting weddings?
I started photographing weddings in 2017 and have photographed 75+ weddings since!
Can we order prints and albums directly from you?
Absolutely you can! Your photos are delivered through an online gallery where you can also order prints, canvases, custom albums. These are printed at a professional print lab so the quality of the photos is GORGEOUS. Your photos aren’t meant to live in the cloud forever. They can be hard copies handed down to future generations, or part of an epic gallery wall, or in the physical album you gift your mom for her birthday. Let the magic continue long after the day is done!
