The Secret Garden at Ripples Winery - Abbotsford Wedding Photography

As a photographer local to the Langley / Abbotsford area - I’ve seen a lot of venues in the Fraser Valley and I have to say that The Secret Garden venue at Ripples Winery + New Wave Distilling (formerly the Secret Garden at Woodbridge Ponds) is one of my all time favourites! There are so many good spots, you easily can do all your photos on location if you want. AND the lighting in the reception tent area is always so beautiful and even - it makes everyone look naturally gorgeous (that kind of lighting is basically a photographer’s dream).

Here’s the wedding day of Victoria and Riley - two wonderful human beings and their amazing community of friends and family. We started the day at the nearby Clarion Hotel to photograph the couple getting ready with their bridal parties, and then we went to the venue for the first look. Bride Getting Ready at the Clarion Hotel

Pro tip if getting ready at the Clarion (or any hotel) - the bride chose a larger suite which was an excellent choice - there was lots of natural light and it was very spacious! The groomsmen had a much smaller room, that was dark and cramped so my second shooter did their getting ready portraits in the hotel lobby.
